Naturally, it's a picture of Obama standing on that bridge, screaming his head off. What's not to like about our president put into a painting?

For those who don't know, the painting is The Scream by Edvard Munch and Obama is our president. I know that, when viewed closely, the brush strokes don't match up; however with Photoshop 6.0 I had limited filter options...

HTML tags shirt

I've seen HTML tag shirts before, but they always have one tag on the front and another on the back. Today I designed my own HTML-tag shirt--but with both tags on the back:

Yes, it's just a bad Photoshop. But hey, we can prepare for the future. If anyone actually wants to create this, or knows where to buy one, please contact!! I've been searching for something like this for a long time.

Alternatively, you can have the tags on the front of the shirt; you can also have a hoodie and include tags.

Statue of Liberty protests America

You might be wondering, 'wait, what the hell?'
Don't worry. It's just a Photoshopped picture involving Lady Liberty and a pitchfork (and exaggerated flames.)

this is actually my second attempt to do this, my first attempt came out a lot worse. This time I recycled the hand that was holding the book, and kept the shoulder as well; I also learned more optimal methods for switching an item's color (yes, I'm a noob.) The fire, which doesn't exist on the real Statue of Liberty, was also Shop'd in. I personally feel that this turned out pretty good, but in truth, the techniques used were pretty amateur.

Learned how to use the Liquify filter in Photoshop today. Probably the most amazing thing ever to happen to the world. Now, we can turn people into monsters, make people lose weight, and most importantly, find out how people look with wavy hair xD

I will most certainly be doing a lot more experimentation with this tool in the future, seems like an extremely powerful art to learn.

Hi all, today I got bored and made this quick graph in paint.

The funny thing is, I've actually had people (one person) complain to me before about getting a 780 for their math SAT's before, and I've actually heard someone dancing through the hallway saying 'straight B's! straight B's!'

I'm sorry to say I don't know what the values for the X-axis actually are. Stupid me.

10 Failed Children's Media

Hi all,

I made this list a while back, for the heck of it. It's a list of failed children's songs, nursery rhymes and such that have 'hidden' or unintentional meanings. Some are here just to make the list have 10, and others are there because....well, they failed. Enjoy!

1. Ring around the Rosie
- ok, this is a nursery rhyme. about the freaking BUBONIC PLAGUE. do we REALLY want our children to be singing about death and disease and cremation?

2. The Itsy Bitsy Spider
- The moral of this story is- no matter how hard you try, you ALWAYS fail in the end. I don't recall a verse saying that the spider actually MADE it to the top of the water spout, do you?

3. You are my Sunshine
- this is a lullaby that parents sing to their children because they think its cute. Go read the lyrics. It's about shattered dreams, infidelity and lost love. what a lovely song to sing as a lullaby....(got this off of stephs formspring :) )

4. Rock a bye Baby
- this lullaby is about a baby....FALLING OUT OF A TREE. how much more screwed up does our world get?

*5. Alice in Wonderland
- there is some debate on whether Alice was just high on Acid or something.....

6. Alouette
- this song is about plucking a bird. part by part. yes, this is certainly a song our children should learn. and yes, it is in french. which is the reason most children sing it. because they have no idea what it means.

*7. Puff the Magic Dragon
- laments immortality. 'A dragon lives forever but not so little boys' implies that either 'little jackie paper' died, or grew up and forgot about puff. in the end puff is depressed and goes back into his cave. what a wonderful story. hey, at least Nicholas Flamel can just stop taking the immortality potion and die. Puff doesn't even have THAT choice.

*8. London Bridge is Falling Down
-this song is actually about the London Fire. if you don't know what that is, you're stupid.

9. Humpty Dumpty
-this is actually supposed to be a riddle (according to lawrence) where you're supposed to guess what Humpty is. but really, its a wonderful story about an egg who suffers mortal wounds after falling off a wall.

10. Georgie Porgie (sp?)
-for those who do not know this nursery rhyme, it's about a boy (Georgie Porgie) who kisses girls and makes them cry. Then he runs away from all the other boys. Really, need I explain any farther? ok, basically Georgie is symbolic of a man who takes advantage of women and takes the more 'violent' approach; then he leaves to escape the wrath of other men in the women's lives (eg brothers. husbands, children, etc.)

So, next time you read your children a nursery rhyme, or a book, or sing them a lullaby, THINK about what you're actually telling them!!

*these are ones that may be pushing it, they're only here because I needed 10 pieces that everyone knew ;)

Black Logic Star puzzle

Hi all,

This is a black Logic star puzzle I made a while back, base is a white Logic star by Hryalavolomi (sp?)
It was made using a generic Magic Marker, a plastic fixative and Pyraminx stickers from Cubesmith. It actually took longer than I expected, and it chips a little but after lube it turns really well (:

Hi, just made this a while ago. One major problem is that you're not allowed to select your own background picture (maybe you can, but I don't see how without editing HTML directly). Would be greatly improved if I could make the Header a photograph. Ways to select more images? maybe. Otherwise, not bad.

For those who wish to read, will be updated probably few times every week.
